The NSE4 Certification consists of both FortiGate® Security and Infrastructure.

We combine these two courses into a 5-day Instructor-led classroom-based delivery, as well as access to our virtual lab infrastructure to complete the lab exercises. Virtual attendance is also possible if the location is not suitable.

FortiGate
NSE 4 Infrastructure

2 day course: FortiGate Infrastructure covers a selection of advanced FortiGate networking and security features commonly used in complex or larger enterprise/MSSP networks. Topics such as advanced routing, SD-WAN, transparent mode, redundant infrastructure, Security-as-a-Service (SaaS), advanced IPsec VPN, IPS, SSO, certificate management and diagnostics.

NSE 4 Security

3 day course: FortiGate Security you will learn how to use basic FortiGate features, including security profiles. In interactive labs, you will explore firewall policies, security fabric, user authentication, SSL VPN, dial-up IPsec VPN, and how to protect your network using security profiles such as IPS, antivirus, web filtering, application control, and more. These administration fundamentals will provide you with a solid understanding of how to implement basic network security.

While we are returning to in class instructor led training, we do offer the option to attend virtually if required.

For all courses (virtual or classroom):

  • The courses will be run from 9.00am to 4:30pm each day
  • If attending virtually, delivery will be via Microsoft Teams
    (however the Teams application is not required, access will be provided via Teams Web)
  • Reliable internet access of reasonable bandwidth will be needed if you are connecting virtually.
